Saved to be broken

As I embarked on my spiritual journey, I learned that the path begins with salvation. Salvation represents the deliverance of the soul from the repercussions of sin. It is confirmed through the verbal acknowledgement that Jesus is Lord, coupled with the heartfelt belief that God resurrected Him from the dead. While it is a gift freely bestowed, I discovered that living out its implications would require a profound commitment and personal sacrifice.

Although I realized that my salvation affects my eternal fate, I did not comprehend that God is more concerned with its impact on my current life. To fulfill God's purpose for my salvation in this lifetime, my soul must align with His thoughts and plans for my life. Since my soul naturally resists God's plans, it must be broken to achieve alignment.

To achieve the divine restoration intended by God, it is essential to undergo the breaking of my soul. This process leads to a spiritual awakening, allowing me to surrender to God's will. Brokenness creates in me a heart that is only dedicated to the Kingdom of God, renews my spirit and empowers me to live a righteous and unwavering life.

In my journey toward salvation, I acknowledge that being broken is a painful yet essential step.To ensure that I don't obstruct this process, I willingly surrender my desires to God's plan.
Even when it conflicts with my own personal desires, I choose to cooperate with His divine process.

I used the phrase “Every man for himself and God for us all” to justify prioritizing my own desires over everybody else. This seems right, after all society tells us we are the most important person in our lives and self preservation should take priority over others. LIFE LESSON: Religion enables false teachings

We have all heard or seen people being abused in the name of God. People have been made to drink petrol or eat snakes or in some instances they have been robbed of their hard earned money all in the name of God. Why would God allow this to happen is a question I have asked myself but never took it further and in fact I chose to put it off my mind. So when it was posed directly to me “ Why does God allow our people to be abused in his name” I realized that I can no longer put it off. I need to find answers to this question. I then did my introspection through what I have learned so far on my journey and here is what I have learned. TESTIMONY : Dont pray hard, pray consistently

Recently while searching for accommodation I went through 3 deals which all fell through at the last minute. After the 3rd deal fell through a friend asked me whether I have been praying and I said yes, and she advised me to pray harder. Pray hard is a phrase we commonly use, I have used this phrase or thought of it because of the belief that the harder I pray the more likely that God will fulfill my expectations. This belief is based on the assumption that God exists to fulfill my plans but in truth I exist to fulfill God’s plan on the earth. A plan that is meant to impact the lives of others and benefit me. No is also an answer  On the 4th attempt to find accommodation a deal was finally sealed.
