Life lesson: Limiting my perspective to the seen realm, without taking into account the unseen realm, hinders a thorough comprehension of my true identity. Throughout my life, I have embraced my African identity as a core aspect of my self-understanding. This grounding in my African heritage aligns with the principles of African Spirituality, which affirm the significance of one's cultural roots. However, as I delve deeper into my spiritual journey, I have come to recognize a potential contradiction between this African identity and the principles of the Kingdom of God, which I have chosen to guide my life. The Kingdom of God, transcends the seen realm and encompasses the spiritual domain through which God fulfills his promises on earth. Anchoring my identity solely in the seen realm, represented by my African identity, may not lead to a comprehensive understanding of my true identity within the Kingdom of God.
